I wrote this song about 2 weeks before attempting suicide. This song and ‘GOTTA FIND MY SOUL’ best express where I was at when I did that. The angst of teenage obsessive romance and being convinced that I couldn’t find the ultimate answers I was seeking in this life led me to decide to ‘sail away into the infinite cosmos of the universe’ on my grand quest to find ultimate reality. Yes I was that far out – helped by pot, hash (equivalent to today’s pot), mescaline and LSD.
