You’ll find many love songs in my searching section. Like every youth, I was looking for love and, in many ways, was in love with the idea of ‘love’. So I tended to see each relationship through the lens of my naive fantasies rather than reality. Not great for genuine relationships, but it fueled a lot of love songs.

I now look back and see my search for a ‘soul-mate’ as a search for Laura – my wife, best friend, lover, babe, uber-mom of our children, and co-laborer and partner in our Jesus Adventure. In that sense, the songs were ultimately written for her.
